This is without question one of the more elegant yet arresting and poignant videos I’ve seen on the topic of poverty.
Freeze the video at 0:13- 0:16 — and imagine that is you holding your child and that you cannot give her enough to eat. I have burned that image into my brain, and it strengthens my irrepressible to raise $1 million for CARE.
Every three seconds, a daughter/mother/father/son/friend dies in our world — of preventable causes. That is breathtaking…and unacceptable. We simply must work harder and smarter to eradicate statistics like this. We must be known as the generation that made…poverty…history.
